This is us. On the Great Wall of China.
We had really clear views and here you can get a sense of the deep mountains north of Beijing.

We did take a chairlift up but don't worry, there was plenty of hiking on the wall. It was actually quite strenuous because of the ups and downs and the really inconvenient spacing of the steps.
Oh, and we took an alpine slide down. Lots of people can say that they did it but now I am one of them.
