The first stop this morning was Gateway Arch in St. Louis. We parked in Illinois and walked across the Mississippi River to Gateway Park. Often there is a long wait to get to the top but we got there early enough that we were able to get right on the tram to the top. From 630 feet up we were able to stare down at the river and the city.
We're making a beeline for Kansas now. I mean, who wouldn't want to get to Kansas as soon as possible? How else will my kids learn how controversial evolution is?
