A really good followup to the boys Irvine Welsh introduced in Glue. I think I like these characters more the Trainspotting guys and the biggest character of them all in "Juice" Terry Lawson is the main character for A Decent Ride. Terry is a bit older now but still the same guy. He drives a cab but only picks up attractive women, etc. By the end of the book you understand that Terry is simply trying to provide a service and is really a decent guy at heart. If there is a movie made of this book I hope Patton Oswalt plays Wee Jonty. But given all the movies from Welsh books since Trainspotting I hope it is not turned into a movie.
